Wider tires mean nothing when running that much camber. I'd bet willing to bet his tires on the R6 have more contact patch than the 8.

New to RX8- Son looking to put 20" x 8" D Centi's DW 6A . Wants the concave look. What is the widest tire that will fit with out rubbing.

If you want a concave wheel it is going to have to be wider than a x8. Also, I wouldn't recommend putting anything wider than a 245 onto 20x8.

Also it would give you a different look, Google some pics 275/30/19 19x10.5 so it would give you the idea on how it would sit.

It really depends on the tire. Some tires are more wide then others. Dont get to cought up in claimed tire size alone.
