You said you were local, the guy is clearly not local, in the typical sense. I lol'd and got carried away because I happened to talk to him on the phone earlier - that is what I was calling BS on. I suppose some might consider the same state "local" but .
I wouldn't consider te's and fn's within the same realm, exactly. Both are popular but fn's are very very popular. Spend 10 minutes over at zilvia.net/f/ and you'll get what I'm talking about. They're nicely styled wheels, lightweight, and cheap - its a good reason they're so popular.
I saw those orange CE's for $1700, that was indeed a steal. As far as these other ads, I haven't seen them. Pretty odd considering I'm a regular over there but hey, I've been wrong before. I don't see any 18x10.5 +22 TE's selling for $1500-1600. If so then damn, I'd love to see the link. That there is a bargain!
Next time you're in socal, hit up the socal lounge. It's often enough, apparently - I'm sure we'd all love to marvel at your car!
Anyways, I fell victim to the off-topic-monster. Whoops...

Heres one of the other orange concaved ones:

Here's the other 18s that were rumored to have sold for 1600-1700:

I never drive the 8 to SoCal. Did it once and will never do it again. Horrible gasmillage, to fragile and the new color will be a pain in the a$$ to maintain. BUT hoping to come to Seven Stock next year if I manage to keep my attention on this thing long enough this year. lol
And I agree, more pics ftw.

FC's are pretty hard to get low, chassis at least. Most fc's that are scraping the ground have low hanging body kits + large diameter wheels to give the appearance. You know, them mazda's, they just don't drop right!
Check out the "Who has the lowest fc?" on 7club and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.
