The AD08s are consistent when driving at 8/10s, but when pushing really hard, they will overheat in a few laps and start to fall off.

A LOT of people have been messaging me about grinding, fitment, pulls, blah. So since I finally took pics, thought I'll do a mini DIY.
First of all to run an aggressive setup all around, you'll need a roll or pull. Which means you've to get a fender roller and go to work.
After you pull, if you still have problems, do this:
Ok, so I got one of these ($15 bucks harborfrieght), and got to work.

So to see what part is rubbing, you can jack up the tire and look and see what it hits:
Then take the grinder and grind the parts, here is how my **** looks like for reference.

Once again, another shitty picture
Moar lower and moar pinstriping on wheels... home made in-fact![Wink](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

The coilovers in the front have the helper springs in them so it won't go any lower... I'm going to reduce the camber so the tire doesn't looks so sunken in because I'm too lazy to remove the suspension and take the helper springs off

Thanks
Going lower in the front will be a last resort. I found out this morning that I scrape on the speed bumps in the parking lot at work. Going any lower is going to make it much worse. Other solutions will be pursued first.

They won't stick out at all... That's not an aggressive offset by any means. However it's a nice sized wheel to run a 265+ sized tire and put down some mean rubber at the track. Sometimes a less aggressive setup is what it takes to improve perf. Even Tilt down graded his aggressive Te37 setup for his current non-aggressive setup to run more tire.
Can't have both, not without a widebody, or some severe fender work lol.

i tried searching the thread, to no avail, so i was wondering if anyone has +15 offset pictures.
picking up some rpf1's and was hoping to be able to post pictures up in here, and there's only 2 offsets 2 choose from +45 and +15, i wanted +25 :/

Just so you know the width matters in regards to offset. Tiltmode43 has some 10.5 +15 pictures https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...63&postcount=8 and here is a set of 9.5 +15 pictures with 225/45/18 https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...postcount=1724 .

I almost did it bro, well close, a 10.5 +7. They just poke out too much, after seeing how those Orange TE37s fit on Tilts car, they poke out too far so going with an even lower offset would make it fit worse for my taste. I like it so the rim is flush with the fender.
Possibly some 19X11s with a +30 or something similar to do a little more tire, get the lip and still poke. Hmmm..

I'm going to have to be the one to make Rota's COOL... Because unlike some people. Some of us just dont have that VOLK money or the roads to drive them on. I could by a pair, but its just not worth it since I already have track rims.
I want a inexpensive wheel with a super aggressive look that if I scuff them or crack them---then so what. I'll by a replacement. 19in wheels dont last long in the Bronx. So thats why I'm making the decision.
My old wheels i'm working on fixing them for some shows. and I want this new pair for other shows and as dailys.
So with that said again who wants to flame =] lol.
