Thanks...i just cancelled that order and ordered the 5zigen Fn01-rc 17x10 +25mm..Can't wait!!!! Next week i should have it already. Will take and post pics..

Question..is it going to rub on the fenders? i got some coil overs and about 4" or 5" cleareance from the ground.
This is where problems start. It is not a plug-and-play setup, fender modification is needed. I don't know why Ross said there were no problems at all...

u.costa: https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...postcount=1905 There is some stuff he did to make it fit. May not need as much since it seems like you aren't anywhere close to as low as him.

PS: I like where your sig is going Tilt.

+1 for the link, it always helps to see what other members go through to make a certain setup fit, or not fit!

As for the sig... :D

The wheels are Volk CE28n Genesis in 18x9.5 +22. I've got some 5mm spacers in the back, now just waiting for some more for the front. 255/35/18 toyo R1r's and I may be stepping to 265's for my next set.

The color on these wheels is interesting, it almost changes between bronze and grayish silver, all depending on the lighting/shadows. I included the middle picture to show this. I've never had ce's and can now finally add it to the list! I've heard every dirty-car comment on earth so if that's all you've got to say you can hold your tongue :P

I wanted to go with some 17x10 +25mm but the man at the store where i was buying from it said it would cause problems in the car. Is it true? My ride is low. I got some coil overs i lowered it about 2.5" or 2". Please let me know if 17x10 is a problem or not, cuz if it isnt i'll go to the store right away to change my order!

Thanks

Sorry for the confusion u.costa; I was referring to the wheels not being "aggressive". I had assumed you've read this thread and seen what work it will take for the 17x10 +25 to fit (which is "aggressive"). Have you? If you're not willing to roll all your fenders and pull a little bit you should go with your original order of 9.0 +35.

It will look very aggressive but remember it will need work, you cant just drive around like that out of the box.

Again, sorry for the confusion; was referring to the aggressiveness of the wheels, not the fitment.

You will still need to roll all your fenders but the c'overs will help you get the stance you want.

If you still havent read this thread, contact TRex8 as he had that exact setup and can tell you what you need to do to make it work.

Sweet man, I'll be in town next weekend. I saw a glimpse of those pics of your fenders on facebook, hopefully you can tuck them up there!

u.costa - You can make that spec work, it will just take a little bit of work. Also, the ride height adjustability of a coilover isn't what I was referring to exactly. I would probably try PMing imput as he's posted much more on making that spec work out. Those wheels look very nice in that spec because of the concave, the 9" +35 is very boring!

Thanks thejew!

Lol Zach that's awesome!

Ok thanks. But the original set, the 17x9 +35mm doesnt look as bad *** as that one right?
I read that thread and i dont have the tools like imput has. And i dont know how to do that, but ill show that thread to the ppl at the shop and ask if they can do that. I dont want to lose my side markers though.

I will as well contact T-Rex as soon as possible cuz the wheels will arrive next week.
So u think as soon as the wheels and tires are installed in the car i wont be able to drive well right away? the fender mod is needed right away??

PS: Sorry for so many questions...i'm not american neither understand very well these things but im doing wat i can.

PM me what you exactly need to know and I'll let you know step by step. Its not really "hard" just can't be scared to cut and grind on a relatively new car

So it appears I've "bent" (read: fucked up) some metal on the underside of my car... I'm not sure when I did it so I don't know how it happened, but I noticed it last week when I looked beneath the car to see if all the speed bump and ramp scraping had ripped anything off, dented anything, broke ****, etc...

Because of my awesome work hours (read: shitty) I won't have time to jack it up to really take a look at the damage for a few weeks, but I found these pics of the interface I'm referring to (the bent metal is circled in red). They connect to the lower control arms. The forward-most part is bent straight down, but the area around the toe-adjusting bolt seems to be unaffected. I'm worried though that hitting the metal enough times is going to really **** something up while I'm going down the interstate. Anyone have any input?
