Alignment Spec Recommendations for MS
I got my MS springs and shocks today so now its time to put them in. I was wondering what alignment specs I should get? This is my daily driver but it will see about 6 track weekends (HPDE’s), and 2 or 3 autocrosses. I was able to find the following specs in my searches
Front Camber= -1
Front Castor Max after Camber
Front Toe = 0
Rear Camber -.5 more than front setting
Rear Toe= 0
I am not two concerned with ride comfort because I like the feel of the road and I have a pretty good back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have MS springs and Konis. Konis are set 1.5 turns from full soft (54%) front and rear. I think the MS springs lower the car enough to let you go nearly -2 camber in the front. If you do track weekends I would suggest a little bit rear toe in for high speed stability.
My settings are:
-1.5 front -2.0 rear
6 caster
0 front toe, 1/12th total toe in rear
Now that I think about it, the car could probably use -1.3 front and -2.2 rear, I still have some throttle induced oversteer. May need to soften the rear shocks a bit also.

can't recall caster settings
0 front toe, and a bit of rear as Cosmo says for high speed stability.

I have a little more oversteer than I like but I would think that adding a front sway alone would take care of that, not to mention a 1.5 degree camber split with a rear gripping bias.

I set my Koni front 1-5/8 rear 1-1/4 from soft, I also got the RB F&R sways.
I did a lot of freeway driving, so I need the min camber I could get to save tires.
handling is ok, I could full throttle in third going on and off ramp.

I'll be able to get back to you and give much better feedback after a few sessions at GingerMan in the upcoming months...
But my setup is:
Tein Flex
Whiteline Adjustable roll bars (both on the soft setting)
RPF1 wheels on 275/35 MXs

My specs are:
Front Camber -.7
Rear Camber -1.5
0.0 toe front and rear
5.6 Caster
I have the Tein S-techs with Koni Yellows(front is about 1.75 turns, Rear is about 1.25-1.5 turns) with RB sways and ADJ. endlinks. I like the setup, but I do get some push in sharp corners, and it can get a little touchy on high speed sweepers because of the 0 toe.
I think this is a good street setup also because I get pretty even tire wear and I cut down on the road noise from riding on the corners of the tires. My previous specs were -1 FCamber, -2 RCamber, 1/16 F&RToe, and 5.? Caster. I like my current setup better.

Haven't really seen much difference in tire wear either.

It's good to know that 1.75 front and 1.25-1.5 turns rear causes some understeer. I was just about to take out my rears and soften them up but I think I will just increase the fronts to 1.75 and leave the rears at 1.5 which should give some pretty neutral handling.

OK, after hearing all the suggestions I will go with the following:
Front Camber -1.3
Front Caster Max After Camber
Front Total Toe in 0
Rear Camber -1.8
Rear Total Toe in 1/12
How does this sound?

Your settings above look good, and I think you'll be happy with them.
But in saying that, I would get rid of the toe all together though. But that's just my preference. My previous setting was 1/16 total toe. It was more stable, but not horribly so. To me, the 0 toe setting twitchyness wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be. It's only at VERY fast speeds and right at the limit. It doesn't feel like your going to lose it, it just requires you to think about what you're doing.

I just got my new alignment since I put in the springs last week.
Front Camber Left -1.3 Right -1.4
Front Caster Left 6.6 Right 6.8
Front Total Toe in 0
Rear Camber Left -1.8 Right -1.9
Rear Total Toe in 1/8
They had a rough time getting the numbers to match on the camber side. Pretty cool machine they used, lasers and ****.

I'm about to have my car re aligned, to fix the extreme wear on the insides of my rear tires. Everything is stock, I have no aftermarket parts. And since I don't want to just give this random shop my car and tell them to realign it, what are the optimum numbers for a daily driven street car?
