Anyone buy Kosei light-weight wheels?
I am thinking about buying these in 17x7.5 with a 45 mm offset for my winter driving. Along with 245/45-17 snow tires. They weigh only 16 lbs. and cost a whopping $170! I will either do this, or get some 18s for the winter. Very cheap for the light weight, but they are very plain. anybody have experience with these wheels?

I don't like the thin look of a thin tire/wheel combo. My future summer setup will be 285 rears and 245 fronts. I will have 245 in the winter for sure, and it shouldn't degrade the traction. We have 245 on our 7er BMW, and our X5; both in Dunlop M3 setups.

Do a search on here for those wheels. There was one guy who put them on his 8 and posted some photos. The down side to them is the big hole in the center. You'll see a rusty piece of metal (unless you prep it and paint it before hand). Being lightweight and all is a nice bonus. I'm still trying to decide which wheels to get for winter and these are near the top of my list. I also will be using the Dunlop M3 tires on whatever wheel I end up with.
On another note, how far away from Holland are you? I usually go up there once a year to see a bunch of relatives who live up there. I always enjoy spending time there.

Those are great rims, a few Focus owners put them on and loved them. Also, about the whole in the middle, there is a piece you can buy to put in there, like you have to do with the MS rims.

If anything, go to www.focaljet.com (Focus site) and search there forum, or just register and post.
I think its so moronic that tirerack sell the rim, but not the centerpiece.

Don't forget the ADVAN RG's.
