As the title says, looking for some feedback from anyone who has tried this tire. Priced between the Kumho MX and the ADVAN's, a few good reviews on Tire Rack, but none from RX8 drivers.

Tirerack test, take it for what it's worth. It looks like a good budget alternative to the Advan Neova, but if you want the best ST compound you still have to pay to play. It does look like it'll threaten the RE-01R more based on Tirerack's findings as the RE-01R is a good dual use tire that is still kind of pricey.

I read some good reviews for these. Dunlop actually gave a few BMW owners some test sets during Oktoberfest this year and everyone liked them. I doubt they're quite as sticky as the AD07 or RE01R but probably on a level playing field with something like the Hankook RS2, RT615 falken etc.

I am a noob here. I saw this post and figured I'd chime in on my favorite tires.
Hello everyone :D
I had these on my previous car (a heavily [suspension wise] modified 2007 Corolla S). I ran these Z1's (I work for Goodyear so I got them dirt cheap as soon as they were released in the US) and I thought they were spectacular. Before that I ran Direzza DZ101's and RT-615's, all 205/55R16 (except for the RT-615 was 225/50R16) on low (for a Corolla) offset 16x7 +33 Flik FTD's. The Z1's don't make a peep around corners, and I felt they handled almost as well as the RT-615's. The price is the big draw to them.
