Anyone using porterfield R-4 or R4-S for track days

Looking for input on either of these pads for track day and how they might work on the street.
Thanks for any help.

I know some guys in here use the R4 for the track. When inquiring with a shop regarding use of the R4S on the track, I was told that if I were to use R4S on track, to use them only on the rear rotors with R4 pads up front. Personally, I've stuck with HP Plus all around with success.

I was using the R4S. They work fine on the street and are good on the track. I ran them for a year (8 track events). Only things I didn't like about them price and dusting. I've switched to EBC red stuff for the street and EBC Yellow stuff for the track. They are cheaper. I have yet to compare it to the R4S because I haven't been back to the track since i switched. I will be back in July.

What are the coefficient and temp ratings for both pads?

The R4-s work fine I use them all the time.

Hawk pads will wear out your rotors.
