BeatRush parts from GummyGrip
I just ordered the following BeatRush parts from GummyGrip http://www.gummygrip.com in Las Vegas, Nevada 702-457-7278
BeatRush Center Transmission Bracing
BeatRush Rear Differential Support Brackets
BeatRush Aluminum Under Panel
I talked to Matt the owner of GummyGrip and he was more than helpful with my order. Matt shipped and email me the shipping tracking number the very next day. Great customer service I might add is a big plus in the automobile business.
My BeatRush parts are do next week and I will be posting pictures of the parts, installation pictures, weight of parts and overall handling experience/improvements.
Also, next month I will be ordering the BeatRush Rear Arm Performance Bracing
Stay tuned and zoom-zoom

I took the time to weight of each BeatRush component set that I received. See below total weight for those of you that are concern about adding/reducing weight on your RX8.
BeatRush Center Transmission Bracing………5 pounds
BeatRush Aluminum Under Panel…………….4 pounds
BeatRush Rear Differential Support Brackets...3 pounds
The Center Transmission Bracing and Rear Differential Support Brackets are made of steel with two urethane bushings each.
The installation instructions are written in Japanese but it includes detail illustrations that are easy to follow. See attached.

Installation time of all BeatRush parts that I ordered from GummyGrip http://www.gummygrip.com in Las Vegas, Nevada 702-457-7278 took a total 2.5 hours. That included the time it took me to drive the car in the garage, up on four jack stands, print Mazda instructions on removing/installing power plant frame installation (needed for reset power plant frame and tightening torque) and set car back on the ground all by myself.
See pixs of the BeatRush Aluminum Under Panel.

You will have to support the transmission before removing the power plant nuts, install the BeatRush Center Transmission Bracing, re-adjust the power plant frame and torque down the transmission to power plant bolts. Once you are done installing the BeatRush Center Transmission Bracing you can move to install the BeatRush Rear Differential Support Brackets. Support the front of the differential and loosen the top two differential to power plant nuts. Install the BeatRush Rear Differential Support Brackets and torque down the two differential to power plant nuts.

I drove my RX8 for a few miles and everything checked out OK. I will be driving the car tomorrow to work and to a Mazda dealer for a warranty part exchange (about 200 miles of street and interstate road trip) and will let you know of any street driving difference. I’m doing an AutoX next month and hopefully I will also have installed the BeatRush Rear Arm Performance Bracing that I’m ordering next month for a full evaluation of the BeatRush kit.
Many thanks to Matt from GummyGrip http://www.gummygrip.com in Las Vegas, Nevada 702-457-7278 and I will keep you posted for further developments.

Oil change done and here are the pixs. The distance between the bottom of the OEM oil pan and the BeatRush Aluminum Under Panel is 20mm/2cm or approximately 25/32 inch.

After 150+ miles and happy to report that my car handling has improved significantly. Road handling/feedback is better and with minimum sacrifice in comfort. To the point that I had to order better brake pads/rotors and need to pay more attention to the speedometer. No squeaks, vibrations, rattling, etc. Can’t wait until my next AutoX in February and I will keep you posted.

the parts look nice......kinda off topic, but am I the only one who noticed what the car was lifted on???? poles and wood blocks???? I would be a little worried being under the car...but maybe the picture is decieving??

According to the Mazda parts manual the part number for the Power Plant Frame and the Cross Member are both the same for the manual and automatic transmission RX8. I'm 99.99% sure that it will fit an auto RX8 since the Transmission Brace is bolted down between the existing cross member bolts and the two lower front power plant bolts.
I can post the auto transmission power plant intallation instructions if interested.

As for the Aluminum Under Panel:
Before I decided on an RX-8 I was looking around the 350z and the s2000 forums and I picked up somewhere that you are never supposed to mess with the air directly under your engine.
Putting a diffusing like part under your engine bay acts as a cap to retaining hot air and whatever else it needs to do. Can anyone verify this or refute? It would be good to know.
