Good question.

I searched the web for answers but couldn't not find a reliable data. However, I came across the following EVO forum thread:

Update:

My BeatRush Rear Arm Performance Bracing from www.gummygrip.com should arrive Tuesday and details of the part/installation will be posted that evening.

My next AutoX will be on the 3rd of Feb and should have an extensive review of the BeatRush parts that were added to my RX8.

So far driving in heavy rush hour afternoon traffic show no signs of higher engine temperatures and fast lane changes (70-90 mph) on the interstate are extremely responsive. I had to go back constantly monitor my speed because I noticed that I was driving a bit faster than usual due to improvements in steering and maneuverability.

UPS delivered my BeatRush Rear Arm Performance Bracing that I ordered from GummyGrip http://www.gummygrip.com/ in Las Vegas, Nevada 702-457-7278

I took the time to weight in the kit for those of you that are concern about adding/reducing weight on your RX8.

BeatRush Rear Arm Performance Bracing.………8 pounds

The black brackets are made of steel and the gold braces are made of aluminum.

The installation instructions are written in Japanese but it includes detail illustrations that are easy to follow. See attached.

Installation time of the BeatRush Rear Arm Performance Bracing 45 minutes. That included the time it took me to drive the car in the garage, up on two jack stands, install and set car back on the ground all by myself.

Everything fits snugly and no cutting/welding/tapping needed.

I drove my RX8 for a few miles and everything checked out OK. I will be driving the car Sunday across the state to an AutoX event in Melbourne, FL and will let you know of any street driving/AutoX difference/improvements.

See pixs of the BeatRush Rear Arm Performance Bracing.

That, my friend, is absolutely right. And, if you mention the attached flyer ad, shipping is free!

Sunday AutoX results:

Driver = Sucked
BeatRush Upgrades = Rock

Over steering is all gone (my main issue before upgrading) even though I’m running Nexen N3000 and the RX8 feels like riding on rails. Very happy with all my BeatRush upgrades, worth every penny and thanks to Matt at Gummygrip for a great customer service support.

I know it's an old thread but I'm about to installed the underpanel. Installing a lip or something similar as the Beatrush under the front cross-member could generate an area of low preassure that could do the opposite: help the air flow out of the engine bay faster, helping to get more cold air through the radiator. This was suggestd by Racing Beat when I consulted them regarding a high water temp in an autocross event.

Hope this help if you get to read it.
