Brake caliper paint

Just updated our website with a detailed "how to" on painting our ugly brake calipers that mazda decided to give to us. Post up if you feel the article is useful. The link to showanddrift is in my signature.

Maybe. Except you're better off removing the lower bolt on the caliper and rotating it up to remove and reinstall the pads. See the shop manual page I provided.

I already printed the page out--waiting for the pads to come in.

Yeah the whole caliper is painted. We plan to paint the rear calipers and do a how to on those in a couple weeks. We will also be doing a brake upgrade in the near future to either Stop Tech or Endless. I will post up a how to on the brake upgrade as well. We are shooting for March to do the brake upgrade.

Cool - thanks. This is the one of the mods that I just keep putting off. Maybe your instructions will motivate me finally. :o

On a side note - I noticed RX7.com has the Stop Tech in the clearance bin: http://rx7.com/clearance.html

Huummmm....
