Brake replacement/Upgrade

Hello,

RacingBrake is pleased to be a sponsor of this forum and wonder if you need any brake upgrade (including Carbon Ceramic Brake) for your RX8 other than those we are offering now.

MAZDA : RX8 - RacingBrake.com

Our 4 piston brake kits are most competitively priced, our brake kits were efficiently designed to perform the track task w/o excessive overweight and they last and last...

Along with the recent new brake development of new Miata MX5, Mazda brakes (RX7, RX8 and Miata) are getting a revamp.

So whether you are looking for replacement (pad, rotors) or the complete brake system, we have them for you so let us know if anything we can do to help you tune your brakes.

Do you still use the same cast iron in your rotor rings? I have been super impressed with how long the rings have lasted and how heat resistant they have been.

I purchased your 4 piston upgraded system when it was first introduced years ago...and have nothing but great things to say about the product.

I love mine, they have held up to several years of use. They are in need of a fresh coat of red though

Mine are well melted off too

I have much less interest in the looks though...my car is on the other end of the continuum from yours. Your looks like a Prince....and mine more like the paupers son

Hi Dan,

Thank you for your support and loyalty. We have been using the same casting metallurgy for our disc since we first introduced two piece rotors for Miata and Acura NSX in about 2004/5 followed by RX7 and RX8.

We are glad to be able to offer industry most durable track rotors in the performance industry. Following that 4 piston kit, we have grown into some very serious heavy duty 6 pistons calipers with which we used to build complete 16" (380/390mm) brake kits including carbon ceramic brake system.

Please click below links to get an idea of our current offering for various car makes:

We offer complete caliper rebuild components for most OE (Brembo) calipers. Good orders come from Porsche, EVO/STi and BMW communities.

Caliper Rebuild Service - RacingBrake.com

Since RB calipers hold up very well so we have very little call for rebuilding components, but as we know the caliper paint can get fade/chip over the age although we offer rebuilding service but no powder coating at this tine.

However we do have customers with RB calipers asked for rebuild and powder coating, so we recently offer a "trade in exchange" program, which you sent back your used calipers, and we can immediately ship out a pair of brand new calipers (fully assembled & hydro tested on shelf ready to ship) so customer gets minimum down time, and with the trade in credit your cost for a brand new set is actually cheaper than "powder coating" + rebuild (labor & parts).

BTY we also have VW "Blue" and Lexus "Yellow" for $180/set extra if you prefer besides Black and Red at no extra charge. Current new calipers are silk screened with a new logo "RB Performance Brakes"

Sample yellow caliper (Real color looks better than shown)

If this is something you are interested let us know so we can add more information.

Thank you and we look forward to serving your braking needs.

Can you PM me a quote for the rebuild and exchange pricing for the front RX8 Big Brake Calipers?

Thanks Dan

PM was replied. For those who owned RB calipers may purchase our brand new caliper sets in this link:

4-piston Caliper (Red) RB4045

The new calipers have a new style design, but brake pads and adaptors are same as previous style. They are priced for pre-owned customers for replacement only - More cost effective than rebuilding and powder-coating them.
