BRAKES: Anyone running this setup, or got reviews

I searched on the forum, but I can find a real solid answer to help me with my brake decision. I have chosen to go with EBC Sport Slotted Brakes with EBC RedStuff pads all around. Can someone help guide me into a direction Am I choosing ok Thanks guys.

Haven't seen to many people use this setup.

Most popular setups for rotors are RacingBrake, Centric, or Powerslot.

As for the brakes it really depends on what you are doing, personally I have never used EBC so I cannot provide any feedback.

Ebc pads are crap, thin and hence don't last too long.
Ebc brakes are cheap and you get what you pay for. The dimpled design (fake drills) is the stupidest thing that you could do to a brake disc. The disadvantage of a drilled disc (reduced friction surface) without the cooling benefit deriving from it!

Racing Brake makes pretty good stuff and isn't too expensive, so do Dba and Girodisc to name a few. AP racing comes to mind, if you're not on a budget!
Our stock discs aren't bad at all too, if yours are worn you might still want to go that route.

Stating your goal would help us direct you to the right compromise!

I had heard the EBC pads were some what questionable but didn't want to make the comment without firsthand knowledge. Thanks for the info.

I know, that's why i made the point clearer
They can be compared to the short living ET series brake pads from racing brake, without the strong bite.
Ebc, mintex and the likes are brans that should be avoided. If i get a chance i will get some pictures of how they killed the front rotors in an FD i take care of, after wearing unevenly!

I am selling a very lightly used set of Racing brake 1-piece slotted rotors $375 shipped to the USA. Add some Hawk ceramic or HPS pads and it will be perfect for your street car. Or light track use.

I also have a set of New SS lines and used F&R caramic pads for sale. $100 shipped witht he rotors. $475 for the whole setup and I guarentee you will be happy.

Click the link in my signature. Pm me with questions.

If I'm seeing right you've gone ahead and gotten them, how are they? I think maybe this might be an alternative to stop techs for me
