if you don't use the tpms, the light will come on after a short drive and will blink continuously. i've learned to not look at it.

I went 2 years without TPMS, it blinked for a while, then went solid for most of the 2 years.

when I got my rays, I had the tpms installed and it started to blink. I thought to myself, 'oh ****. they don't work', but within a day it turned off.

So am i suppose to have the person thats installing the falken's on my volks... take the tire sensor from the stock wheel or something??? I'm kinda confused about how it works.

But I wouldn't want the light on, neither have it flash.

judging by your avatar and the center cap, i'm guessing it's CE28. the installer should swap over the sensor from each stock wheel to the new wheels (if they even fit). otherwise, you're gonna have to live with the tire monitor light on.

i don't think there is a way to disable it. it's government required now. plus, i've looked at the wire diagram and it's a CAN bus line. even the freaking light is monitored. i was thinking about putting all the sensors in an air tight container and pressurize it, but they also calculate air temp and rotation...wack!!

i wonder how much it would cost them to remove the sensor form the old wheel, mount them to the new wheel, reset the tpms settings, and all.

damn im broke as it is.. >.<
