Thanks Whitehot. Man ya'll are great! I am super excited to get this project started. Have upholstery and paint mods in mind, a certain kit, which will remain nameless at this time, the SF wheels are a for sure now...I have kei-office eyelids installed, and a few minor mods. Nothing to the engine, will be done, except some graphics to the entire set up of covers. I just dont need a cold air intake, but have thought about changing the exhaust. I just haven't found the right 'throat" I'm looking for yet! Lowering the front a bit I think is exactly the look that I want. Hopefully by this time next year she'll be show ready.

I got a question to all the fellow RAYS wheel owners, I would like to know where is the best place to purchase some?! To be specific, I'd like to buy some SF Challenge's in RMC finish..

To be honest, I don't think the SF challenge would look good in chrome. Go with gold. I think gold on a VR would look even better. Keep in mind that you would have to wait for several months for your Volks to come in. imdanomite is selling his right now:

Yeah, I saw that the other day, but it's not what I was looking for.. 2 main reasons, I'm not into Gold wheels and the other main big reason is that I'm going with a different offset. Besides, my car is VR right now, but I will be undergoing a major change which would be completed early/late 09. Which means different paint as well! Any case, I wouldn't mind waiting several months for the rims to arrive. I just need to find a good vendor that sales them..

Thank you! I'm just looking for reputable vendors as of right now, I won't order my rims until late 08. I don't mind waiting a few months, especially since I got other things to do before the rims go on. Any case, is there any other vendor someone would recommend or..?!

Hey Guys after nearly 2 months of waiting, I have received confirmation that my wheels are finally coming some time next week. I will post pics once they are mounted. What cleaning tools do you guys use to clean your Volks? Now that I spent so much on wheels, I don't want to scratch them up. I know about waxing them and using microfiber towels, but any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

In addition to waxing and polishing, clean them with the same high quality soap you use to wash your car. I wash my wheels inside and out every week. But I have 5 spokes so cleaning the inside is very easy.

USE ONLY SOAP AND WATER! I just seriously screwed myself recently. I typically only use Meguiar's wheel cleaner, however I ran out this past weekend and decided to use my wife's Eagle one wheel cleaner. Bad decision. Completely killed the anodized lip on my GTS. Now I'll have to send it to a wheel repair shop to have it refinished. What a pain in the neck!!!

Currently running on my track set-up, Rays Gram Lights 57F:
