Hi Guys,
I need a bit of help here. I've been reading every work rim thread possible and everyone is giving me different answers. I have a 2004 rx-8 with stock suspension. I was just wondering what is the most agressive fitment possible without having to roll the fenders or buy a coilover? Is 18x9.5 +38 possible for the front and rear? If so what size tires should I get? |

I have 18 x 9.5 at +38 but you get a 4x4 look which you cant avoid but you can still lower it .
|
Ah ok I see what you mean. What tires are you running btw?
|
Anyone have the GNOSIS GS2? I'm looking at getting the Matte Deep Black ones for my WB.

^ Keep in mind that im running coilovers on my set up and the ride height is lower than it would be with the stock suspension set or lowering springs.
|
and you have more camber
|
Of course there's more camber LOL
Negative camber is pretty much unavoidable the lower you go without camber kits etc etc... But I know you knew that ;) |
Just saying because at stock height it would change how the wheels "fit." With my car lowered on MS springs, 9.5 +38 seemed ok but after putting the coilovers on it became "sunken." Camber does make a difference.

glad to say that im officially part of the group
ill be putting pics up in the morning these wheels look sick but they only problem is that i have to drop it casue they look wierd without the car being dropped idk, maybe just me, im wierd lol |
