Cant get brake rotor off

Hey guys, I am in the middle of putting new studs on. I am almost done but I cant get my passenger side brake rotor off. If anyone have ideas on getting this damn rotor off, please let me know.

Did you remove the safety screw? If so, there is a threaded screw hole on the rotor. Find a screw that will fit in that hole and tighten it, it will push the rotor off.

Rubber mallet. They just get rusted on there pretty good even here in Texas so I can imagine if it snows where you live they are a bitch to get off.

sometimes its not that easy... I take a small piece of wood and a rubber mallet and hammer it. let it vibrate. This helps break the rust and depris apart. keep hitting it until it breaks loose.

Just find a screw that fits, it will make your life a lot easier and you won't screw anything up.

Just buy a bolt that fits at autozone, they are all standard IIRC.

This thread reminds of my friend, another local 8 owner who called me for help because he was trying to change his coils but all he had was a 1/2" rachet and 1/2" standard sockets I was like, "WTF dude, didn't you think about what tools you would need before buying the coils?".
