Coilovers vs new springs.
Hey everyone. Currently I have mazdaspeed shocks and springs and I love em. but I want to lower my 8 even more. The catch here is this. Next summer I ll be installing RPF1's with 275/35 all around tires. I m very interested in megan racing springs (only $140). Now will that even work? Will I still be able to fit those 275/35 tires with mazdaspeed shock and megan racing springs? or should I just save the $$ for coilovers? I m a noob in suspension so I need your help.

I wouldn't run coil-over unless your a tracking the car. You wouldn't feel the full potential coil-overs would bring by daily driving. Its a lot of cash to spend without really seeing the real benefit. Most people are running springs and/or struts and/or shocks. I myself am running Tein S-Techs with Bilstien shocks and love it. If i were you I would look at the wheel, suspension, brake area of the board. there you will find a sticky "LOOK Lowering springs" there are a bunch of pixs of 8 running different types of suspension setups. There I think you will get a better idea of what your looking for. Good Luck

But not to say that is the best option out there but they are options none the less.
