Just PM'd all that asked about pricing, what do you guys think... By the way prices do not include shiping or taxes; so even at that price figure those things into your thoughts...

rexi: Once I get done with all of the Mazdaspeed specific additions/mods to the car including the plugs, I have a contact at M who is getting me the ECU calibration from J... I will then have the techs at our dealership flash my car, when it's all said and done I will post on it; however that will be about two months out... As far as cost, this one is going to be free, the only thing is that it will be outside of the ability of most, due to the fact you will probably have a hard time getting your dealer to flash the car for you...

Looks beautiful. Are you having any clearance problems with the 1" drop? I am also trying to imagine that suspension kit with the bodykit and the change in ground clearance... thus the RB kit has the appeal of only being a .5" drop...

Japan8: The actual drop is 1" not .5, it still provides enough clearence however and I have not had any problems... The only thing to watch out for now is the front lip is lower than most parking blocks...

Huh?
Mazadaspeed = -1"
Racing Beat = - 1/2"
Right? Wrong?
What I was saying is the the MS RX-8 A and B-spec use the same suspension setup as you have. "So... instead of apperance package, MS package... will it rub a lot?" is what I was wondering. THUS, the RB springs appealed to me more than the MS springs.

The MS suspension will work perfectly with the MS body kit; they were designed to work together... And unlike the literature that says approximately 20mm the actual measured drop on my car is 1" front and rear... There are absolutely no rubbing or clearance problems on my car...

good... that is nice. I am sure you are happy with it.
I went to track on Friday cortc and found the car turns exceptionally despite of the body roll. I want to eliminate the feeling of rolling and thinking of getting strut and sway bars. Do you think that is enough or has to have suspension as well. I think I will go for the sway +/- 4 pt strut and then Tein/MazdaSpeed adjustable later.
I will sort out handling before boosting the engine. They are just developing the supercharger in japan so it will be 2 years before i am confidently doing mine up!

What cortc is doing is awesome and I wish more members would do what he's doing, which is report on the mods he has purchased and respond to follow-up questions in a thorough and friendly manner, which helps all RX8 owners.

Thanks guys, and yes I originally misread his post, reread and understand my mistake, sorry...
takahashi: I agree the RX8 handles fantastic even when stock and like you I wanted to get rid of the body roll... Just the sway bars will help but the springs will make a big difference as well, the shocks really just compliment with the correct damping and round off and balance it out...

JimW: No, I head up I.T. for one of the big dealer-groups; we have dealerships all over the country including just about every make from Kia to Ferrari... I want to remain objective and don't really want to start recommending any particular dealership as this will most probably make it seam as this is my intention... Just a car enthusiast who happens to work in the industry... If you have no idea were to go PM me and I will point you in the right direction...
