Concave to a whole new level "Rota Grids"
Has anyone seen these rims before, the Rota Grid's are on the companies website but they didn't have this size. After looking at these wheels, I'm shocked I would love a pair for my 8 but I'm not sure how they would look. In my opinion they look beautiful on the Evo's.

Anyone have any experience with these wheels? Post up your opinions and comments!

Rota Grids actually exaggerate concave more than what they are emulating (TE37's). It can be good or bad, depends on what you're looking for. The design of the wheel looks good and if it's all that's in your price bracket I see nothing wrong with Rotas

Haha, alright, those ridiculous concave7's are more concave but I was comparing the Grids to what they are emulating/copying - TE's. The Grids exaggerate the concave more than TE's do...

Haha seriously Dil, this forum is getting more and more picky with wheels. I'm not sure if thats for the better or worse. Like I said, I have no problem with them, it all comes down to what an individual can afford.

It's better. The RX-7 club is getting less picky with more and more kids buying FDs and it's so sad. Asking if 18x7 will fit with 215s, when stock is 16x8 with 225s.

here we are with sub 30k mazdas and people get on their high horse and rail others for not spending 4k on wheels. give me a f-ing break. hey, if you rich folks want to buy me more expensive rims, i'll gladly take them. I had a budget of around $2500 for wheels and tires, i made it work and i've very happy with my rotas. and for those of you keeping score, i've hit numerous pot holes and haven't busted a wheel yet.
oh, i have a 3 bedroom house...is it big enough? god, i guess the only way to go when you buy a house is to get the biggest, best mansion out there, right?? i mean why buy a house if it's the not the most expensive one on the block! otherwise you're better off not buying one at all...what was i thinking?? and i just picked up an X3, is that not expensive enough?! anyone want to rail on my for not "saving up" and "doing it right" by getting an X5? idiots...
/rant - happy friday!
back on topic: to the op, yeah those are not the most concave wheels. ha ha, definitely a misleading title!

To play devil's advocate 2tone - with $2500 you can indeed get a used set of Volks, Works, Advans, etc in near mint condition with tires. I still agree in general with what you were saying though and used wheels aren't exactly accessible by everyone so understandable.
