Question Cost estimate to replace the front sway bar ?

I've got the Tanabe front sway bar and am looking for options to install it. As I have no tools to do it myself, I asked the Mazda dealer about it. I was quoted $186 for the work. Judging by the DIY on the forum, it is a half hour job (with the right tools).
Anybody had better luck with prices?

there's quite a few people up in the NJ area on this board who could probably do it for you for free. Post in your region's forum and ask

You can buy all the tools you need for under $60, it's not an hard thing to do yourself. What part of Jersey do you live by the way?

I'm in Millburn. I park in the apartment complex lot and have no garage to store jacks, stands, heavy tools... or have a good place to work on the car.

Ajax: Definately you got it right. Reminds me one of the main reasons I got this car: this site and the many nice people here.

Expo1: Thanks for the offer, Kel lives closer though I'll meet you on the 20th at the PA/NJ RX8 Tristate Club Meeting?

Kel: Thanks. Check PM please.

Mr Ed: Sway bar was $197 total.
