Drag Race 15x10 Rims

Looking at possibly getting some Forgestar F14 15X10's +44 fitment for the rear. Tires would be 295/55R15 ET's or maybe smaller. Thoughts on how bad and where it might rub?

Thanks

bad enough that a 15” wheel won’t go on

I noticed that LS1 RX8's had listed a 15x10 Weld wheel available for the RX8 at one time. Hoping someone had some experience.

I looked at it myself for same, though all around in my case. In the rear the bracket & sliding caliper design are too high. Wilwood has 12.19” rotor kits they say will clear 15”. None for either the rear RX8/NC MX5 though. Even if you do it custom, there’s the issue of the e-brake to also resolve. Enough money and effort can resolve that, otherwise dropping to the OE 280mm NC rear brakes would be the easiest and least expensive option. They likely did that or aftermarket/custom is my guess.

16” minimum if you want to bolt them on, otherwise you’ll need to install much smaller rear brakes as discussed
