Thanks for the heads up on that Omicron. I'll be keeping that in mind for myself in the future as well. I couldn't agree more with you Ti - cleaning these wheels is really wearing thin on me. I detailed the car Thursday, cleaned the wheels again Friday morning and this am they look like sh*t again I've been using a wet papertowel; sometimes windex. I can't keep the things clean.

..its worse when you have about a days 'dust' on the rims, then it rains. What a mess! Then theres the rust that collects in the back rotors and 'drips' on the inner lining of the rim...enough to drive anyone through the roof!

The RAIN-X brake dust preventer spray works pretty well.
After cleaning all of the wheels, I spray it on the front wheels only. The wheels look "OK" for about a week and the fronts and the backs get darker at the same rate.
It helps but it ain't no solution.

Ps. My new wheels don't get as dirt as my factory wheels. The face of the wheel is further away from the caliper and that helps alot.

There is no such thing as dustless brake pads. Marketing hype.
I tried EBC green "dustless" pads on my other car and went through them in one track day and had dust from the front wheels to the rear bumper. The "dustless" pads dust doesn't seem to stick as much though, ie easier to clean off.

Mr Wiggles, you have those Kaz. wheels from Tirerack, right? I wanted Hiros, but they are still unavailable in 18s, and considering the rims you purchased. How do they clean - are they easy to scratch in comparison to stock?
Thx!
