Those are freaking sexy as hell! Everytime I see some nice cross drilled rotors, I want them but I'm afraid of them cracking. I doubt they would on the street though (I hope)
How much were they?

thanks everybody!!
i really like them...and they do work well....and absolutely NO RUST....
i got them for a really decent price...brand new..from someone who was selling their 8...
but i think the best discount price on the web is around $450....complete set of 4...not sure about shipping tho....some places dont charge for shipping on high priced items...
if you search for EBC....you will find lots of places that sell them....mine are the 3GD

Do they recomend the rotation of the dimples going in that direction? In my experience, most have them in the opposite direction. They actually stamped an arrow in my rotor hat too.
Looks like your surface coating is cadmium, though it could be zinc.

the coating is cadmium....
the rotation can be confusing as the photos above show the front and the rear (they are not all the same wheel)....and the rotors are marked right or left...
I believe mine are rotating in the same direction as yours...

The two brass screws, on the picture of the rotor, what exactly are those?
when i checked a brake pad on the front, when i took the tire off the screw fell to the ground....
i placed it back, but since it is rather short, what exactly is it and what does it do?

The little screws are cadmium plated, not brass. They are only to hold the rotor when the wheel is off.
I always make sure they have a coat of Never-Seize so they will come out when you want them out.

or just leave them off, since they don't do anything. your rotors will stay on because your lug nuts hold them on along with your rims.

I bought mine just last April. It was a pre-owned. She now stays in the garage everyday as I work from home. Only the Jeep will see snow. There is actually very minimal rust underneath. I was quite surprised.
Love your car! Awesome setup.

I have the same set of rotors on my car... the car was driven mostly in cali and vegas but I ended up drilling the screws out anyways (stripped)
what kind of pads are you using right now?

only have about 13k on the car.....
my intention is to put hawk pads on when i get the calipers powder coated over the winter...

I see, I've considered going that route too but I think I'll go with the redstuff when it's time to replace the ultimax pads that are currently on the car.

looks good shinka.
does no one own an impact driver? one whack with that, and those set screws in the rotor hat will come loose. and then it is nice to have them when putting the caliper back together after replacing the rotor, and in my mind, keep the rotor hat seated secure, to avoid any chance of torquing your lugs down eccentrically.
