Edge Racing having HUGE sale on Tires
Just so happens I'm in the market for some new rubber and I stumbled across Edge Racing's "WTF Sale"
I'm thinking of picking up a set of Toyo T1R's (245, 40, 18) since they're only $154 each. I think that's the lowest price I've seen on those tires.
Toyos: http://www.edgeracing.com/tires/2454018/
Edge Racing Home page: http://www.edgeracing.com/
Figured I'd share in case anyone else is looking for similar tires.

I got THIS CLOSE to ordering new wheels to put those Toyo's on but property tax is a pain in the ***.
I'll scorch through these things in a year and get the wheels for next X-mas.

I'm definitely going to try the T1R's once my stock Potenzas are worn.
I'll check back you with Jedi when you have a chance to get the Toyos mounted....you gonna wait until spring or what?

Too bad there is no uniformity between manufacturers.
That treadwear rating will be consistant through a full line from 1 company, So when kuhmo rates the MX as a 220 and the spt as a 320, you know that the MX is a softer tire.
Look at bridgestone, EVERY potenza is listed as a 140. I doubt the all-season potenza(140) is nearly as soft as the kuhmo 220.

Okay, so I was looking at a set of rims on there... (Raze R74) and I see no way in hell to purchase them in 18x9.5 +35 for the RX8...
If you choose the RX8 as the vehicle, it will only give you the option of:
Size: 18x7.5
PCD: 5x114.3
ET: 42
And if you just go in and choose the Raze listing on their website, it doesn't give you the option to make a purchase, just shows you the sizes and tells you they have a sale on...
Is there anything a person can do, short of actually calling them? (I'm not 100% sure I want them, but i'm quite interested)

The RE-01R is at 180
The RE960AS is listed at 400
The RE050A is 140.

But are the turanza el46 standard touring all-season really a 260?
And the turanza er33 grand touring tire is a 140?
So the Turanza er33 touring tire is softer than the Falken Azenis, the Toyo T1-r, the kuhmo MX, Any Pilot sport series, the Direzza sport Z1, And their own Bridgestone RE-01R???????
I call Shenanigans!!!!
