So the Turanza er33 touring tire is softer than the Falken Azenis, the Toyo T1-r, the kuhmo MX, Any Pilot sport series, the Direzza sport Z1, And their own Bridgestone RE-01R???????

I have to agree with this post. My mom has the Turanza ER33 on her IS though, so I'll be keeping a close eye on her tire condition to verify the treadwear rating.

Bridgestone does some strange things. I had a set of RE011's (140 treadwear) on a Saabaru. Lots of grip, yet lots of squish in the sidewalls. Wierd tire.

Spoke with them today... Told me the widest rim you can get for the RX8 is a 18x7.5... (kinda funny seeing as stock is 18x8 lol)

I'm looking at purchasing (2) 18x8.5 rims for the front and (2) 18x9.5 rims for the rear... Both with a +35 offset... I've been told these will fit without a problem, is this true?

They absolutely will not ship to Canada, which sucks, but I have a place they can be sent to in the states where I can pick them up (about 45 mins away)

Hoping to get them mounted this week so I can take the RX-8 up the coast next weekend. LOTS of open road and twisties; about 600 miles round trip.

they are still at $154 and i need new summer tires. i just ordered the mazsport ignition and 4 tires will set me back $600. :/ ugh.. i need to think through purchases more. immagoneedajobsoon.

anyway.. the t1r = good from what i've taken in from you guys. and $154 is a really nice price. so.. final question. im pretty sure 245s will fit on the stock wheels, but uh. can i get one final confirmation please?

Edge Racings website says:
These extravagant prices will last until the end of the year (or if we run out of stuff!). We will resume regular business and shipping hours on January 3rd 2008...
Not sure if they mean the sale is over as of Midnight, December 31st, 2007... Or January 2nd... I thought they said the 2nd on the phone when I made my purchase, but I can't remember....

I've seen that their prices have actually gone up for some products since I purchased my rims on the December 20th (Same rim jumped $50 while still on sale)

update: I've put about 2,500 miles on the Toyos and I'm super thrilled with them so far. Grip is amazing (FAR superior to OEM), they're very quite, and I don't think the sidewalls are as soft as some were implying.

Damn, now they're up to $197 per tire.
