Love the black 8 lowered....looks ready to attack. Did you do any adjustments to the camber. I am wondering, if once lowered, can you get it back to the stock camber settings to avoid that uneven wear on the tires or do you need to buy a kit.

Well...I'll be posting the final pics of the car lowered in a day or two. It's settled pretty well so far. We didn't do any camber adjustments (yet) as we are waiting for the full settling before allignment etc. I'm thinking pics thursday or friday.

Alrighty Guys!!!
Here's the after pics. If you want even closer pics of the gap I do have those as well. I think it's pretty close to fully settled. I've put about 400 miles on the springs so if they drop any more then I'll let you know but they dropped just over an inch and that's what they were supposed to do.

Yep. Very mice.We can make up some vinyl lettering that says "Test Monkey" for your car. LOL. Got your PM, send me all the pics you have of the car and the install. We may not use all of them but at least we'll have the option.

Vivid - Thanx. I'll send all the pics later today. And check out my new title hehehehe.
Omicron - Here's my thoughts on the handling etc.
1- As far as ride goes, It's near stock in smoothness. So much that my wife wasn't able to tell a difference at first. When you catch a big bump though it's more noticable
2 - I 'feel' the road more. As in I can percieve through the car's steering better while cornering and it makes taking fast and hard corners sooo much easier.
3 - Body roll and squat are significantly reduce (50mph turns at 90 degrees and there was notedly less roll.) Also I would have to say that the car seems to 'launch' better when really getting on it.
Overall - The car felt like it was on rails before. Now it's like it's on razors. Handling improved enough for my brother to drive it before and after and say wow. I am in love with these springs. I am exceedingly pleased and would highly recommend Espelir springs to anyone with an RX-8. Also on a further note, as the pics above show, the height settled rather evenly and ended up being about 1.1 - 1.25" overall. Thanks Guys!
Special thanx to Huff over at vivid for helping out with thise too.

Looks really good and thanks for the install story, too!
A little prowling turned up that the Espelir line is from Mackin Industries, the same people that bring us Volks, Rays, Gram Lights, etc. Their site says the Active GT spring is 30 percent stiffer than stock (whatever that is..)
Regards,

Phil,
The 19s should go on with out any issues. The springs don't Slam the car, rather they just give it a more agressive look while increasing the handling. Let me know if you need a set.

Hey! i think iv just emailed your site, asking if you ship to the UK, as thats where im from!? Also are you sure the 19" will still fit in, without any rubbing? Im guessin the ride will be harsher though on these! mybe just best to buy sum 18" and those springs? .. Also if you do ship to the uk, which exhaust would you suggest me to buy off your site? want a sporty sound, nothin to loud and stupid though.. Not going for a induction kit i dont think as i feel it wont make any diff at all, and could let warm, hot air into the engine which isnt good...
thanks

Phil,
I haven't seen the email though someone else may have gotten to it. Yes, I think you'd be OK with the 19s. The ride will not change much as far as comfort goes but again that depends upon what tire size you go with. As for exhaust, you know I'm gonna suggest the B&B. I've been very happy with it and we have sold quite a few to other forum members and they seem to like it as well. Let me know if you want some stuff from us.
