Falken Fk452

anyways, back on topic, so this past week has been unexpectedly cold for mid-November for the DC area, and true to the name of being a summer tire, the FK452's have hardened and become slippery, on Tuesday it was raining and temperature was right around 40 degrees, and going about 60mph on the highway I can feel the rear end becoming very twitchy, and wanting to step out at any sudden change of direction.
so be careful with these guys when it's getting cold out there! put on your winter tires!

Find the cheapest price online, then print it out (without showing the shipping) and bring it to a local tire store. They'll match it. Then negotiate the mounting/balance/valves based upon the cheapest price locally. They may hem and haw for a bit, but when your tab is 7 or 800 bucks they'll want the sale. It's much better than going through tire rack because now you're building up a rapport with your friendly neighborhood business, and you and your buddies will be going back.

so...how would these compare to the Kuhmo SPT? I'm looking to get a new set of tires so I can be ready for next summer.
I have SPTs right now, and I had FK 451 on my old car...but have no way of comparing the two...I just remember the FK 451 were using the same base compound as the RT 215...
