Wheel Fashion Faux Pas? Muteki Reds + RP-F1 w/ Blue Stem

Got Enkei RP-F1's...the Muteki lug nuts I originally ordered were out of stock and so I was shipped a set of dark red lug nuts.

Since the RP-F1 has blue valve stems...is it a fashion faux pas to use red lug nuts?

Heh...I lack colour coordination...

how ricer do you want to be?

more colors = more ricer

you could try taking a red sharpie to it.

what color is the car? VR?
if so, I'd worry about the lugs clashing with the color of the valve stem AND the car.

You can always paint the lugs blue.

Immediate opinion disqualification due to consumption of a liquid...

Coyote Ugly regulations still apply here...

The Jedi Council has overriden your "regulations". Drink more I must, sober in the morning I will be.

Valve stem and caps are in blue...and its rather nice too...

Heh...but thats a nice color red*...

Shinks came up with the brilliant idea of getting stem covers to solve the problem...

Jury is still out on if it would constitute a "faux pas" as I'm going to post a pic with them on so we can get some concrete evidence in the court room.

*I have my reservations that the color will last after a few heat cycles on the track...some parts of the color appeared almost like it flaked off...really does not bother me much as I'm after the weight savings primarily...however minuscule it may be...just cause I can damn it...stop stressing me yo!!

IMO, just get a center cap. I know they are pricey, but wheel looks strange without it.

You don't have a center cap...

Sorry Twink...me no like.
You need center cap, and you either gotta be blue or red....not both.

Yea...me no likey either...center caps have not been put on yet cause I'm still having to take stuff on and off...

Guess the verdict is in...it IS a faux pas....

Now to either get covers for the stems or get black muteki's....

Set of red muteki's for sale! Gently used! Haaaa...

Funny thing...I originally ordered the blue ones...the vendor changed the color due to backorder...

Just got an email back from them which states I could exchange them for black but would have to pay shipping and the package had to remain sealed...oops
