Fashion Faux Pas?

18"...was going to get 17's later when I needed to run R-compound tires in a more competitive situation. The 17's are cheaper in the long term as the tires are WAY less expensive and the smaller size is lighter and gives you a nice little boost in acceleration due to a ratio change. It just looks funny when your are not on a track to see an 8 with 17's.

It should all be black. Or you can put your TPMS sensors in the wheels and have that be silver, then get black lugs.
And you'd be a chump if you threw down for alloy lugs to save a few grams and then put in a center cap.
Just flat black the axle nut and bearing dust caps and forget the wheel centers.

for everyones info, the mutegi lug nuts weigh the same as the expensive ray's lightweight lug nuts. 1 pound for all 20 lug nuts COMBINED
Several track days and autocrosses wheels on/off many times and taken into the dealership with no problems.

Which is why I got the open ended ones...I figure why tease?
If they want to look at my nuts...I'll give them the whole show...
Unfortunately...at the moment...I am still reeling from my earlier tragic nut mistake...

Well coloured nuts are ok...its the blue valve stem + red lug nuts that is the problem...
If the stem and cap were black or some other neutral colour then we would have no issue...
But because they are both coloured, and the colours conflict...in this specific situation...its a faux pas...
