Finally, 19" Stern Wheels

Finally my car has new shoes. Still not mounted because only two set of rims came in today. The other set should be here tomorrow. But to give you an idea here are couple of pics.

Front: 19x8.5 - 38mm - 235/35/19
Rear: 19x9.5 - 35mm - 265/30/19

Actually, it's lowered but you can't tell because I installed the rim and did not move the car, but once the car is moved the springs will settle in place.

That profile is pretty low. It's really shiny, and looks good.

Those look sweet. If you don't mind about how much do are they ? I was thinking about getting a set down the road.

Yep, 265/30/19's have a pretty low profile. The diameter is just a little bit smaller than stock.

Fanman,

I paid $1899 with tires, I had to mount and balance them. But I think it's a pretty good deal considering the size and the finish of the rims (chromes).

Are you worried about the harsher ride with the low-profile tires?

I love it--those are the same rims that I am saving up for, I saw a 350Z roadster with them and they are tight as hell. I'll probably go with 18" though.

Holy jeebus........ Finally a rim that I can say i like other than the Davin SP1. Those are really nice. I think I'd stick with the 18" also since the wife drives the 8. I think they would look killer on the Vel red.

actually, I was gonna go with 20's but decided on 19's because the "economical" issue. I know 20's might seen too much, but I really love the way KEL RX8 car looks with 20" Maido wheels.

Thanks, all I gotta do now is an alignment and roll the fenders, just to make sure they don't rub.
