Fitment/Pricing ?'s
Okay, so here's the closest thing to an update from me (since I haven't posted in what feels like years). Things are going great, I've got an awesome job as a civilian with the navy (GS-7), my own condo with just me and the lady friend, and I take the bus to work everyday!!! I know, crazy talk. But in comparing costs, with the bus being uhm... well.... free... and super convienent for a multitude of reasons, it was hard to pass up.
With that said, over the past 3 months, I've averaged 14 miles driven a day. Which brings the car down to 5,000 miles a year give or take. But at this point in thier lives, my tires a dead. Dead, dead. Really dead. One of them has a small bubble forming in the sidewell and I can tell is about to burst.
Here's what I need. A long time ago I got 19inch HP lightning wheels. My current tire size is 235/35 R19. I need at least 3 new tires (one I just got put on in December) but am willing to buy four. I'm neutral as to whether or not I want new rims, I love the ones I have, but I would prefer to not spend $800 on a set of tires.
So my two questions boil down to this
A) what is the cheapest tire I can put on here - noting that a 30,000 mile tire will be the last set I would probably ever have to buy
B) do I have to put the same size on? I don't mind smaller/bigger as long as it fits/holds air/rolls/does whatever else tires are supposed to do!
Cheapest tire I was able to find was around $130 shipped, not including install.
