Is MeisterR the brand? They look nearly identical to megans.

Looking good. I had to double take the pic of the car on the lift. At first it looked like you had a park bench on the trunk.

It's one of the various rebadges from a chinese manufacturer.
They're actually downgrades from stock and don't any track duty.

What?!?! The car feels MUCH better on the road. how is that a downgrade from stock?

MeisterR sponsor loads of WINNING Racing and drifting teams. I think you're mixing these up with some other Coilovers.

No i'm not. Most of the cheap brands come from the same manufacturer. These are the same as d2\megans\whatever.
I had a set of d2 before, then switched to better stuff because:
4 shocks yielded 4 different dyno plots, both in compression and rebound.
4 shocks behaved different for each single click, some clicks didn't even register on the shock dyno.
The valving was shitty at best. The shocks collapsed as soon as the oil in them got warm thanks to crap springs, poor design and sticky tires.

All in all the stock shocks were better, more similar one to the other and less prone to letting you hit a wall because the car simply stops handling.

Cheap coilovers are just that, cheap.

Well, I'm happy with them. I have a set of these also for my starlet - love them too. in the Starlet world. people have been replacing their Tien/BC/Cusco/Monroe and saying that these are better.

That's the problem with the various fora from all over the world, everybody is entitled to vouch for his own opinion.
The problem is... opinions don't matter, facts do.
