Front brake rotors

Just to clarify, they were damaged during shipping because I was in the middle of moving and in my rush to get them out I didn't package them properly. Even though our deal also included a slightly used set of front OE brake pads that were in the box with the rotors I provided a 100% refund to compensate you for the mistake.

I would have brought it to a shop and see what the runout was. If it was truley just the edge and not really bent/warped you would be fine. I had a dent from my next door neighbors 5 year old dropped one of my rotors from my truck and put a dent in the edge, smashed it with a hammer to get out the burr and it was fine.

I would return the $$$ to team and throw those on my car no problem. You should have seen what the 5 year old did to mine.I have a 4' concrete retaining wall infront of my house seperating the house from the driveway, I keep tools and supplies and parts(and beer) on the wall while I do any work on my car or truck. 5 year old dropped my tacoma's rotor off of the wall while trying to pick it up, the dernt was much bigger than that and they were fine.
I understand your concern but wouldn't worry about that little dent at all.no way that did anything to cause any problems.

Please dont pin me as this guy that complains and was demanding my money back as that certainly is not the case and team can back me up. I saw the dents and asked him (seeing hes been around the block alot more than i) what he thought. Instead of replying right away he decided to send my money back and then reply a little after. I figured the refund was a way of saying "dont use those" so i decided not to. I also asked Team if i could throw money his way for the trouble at very least and all he wanted was a post in his good guy thread and i was not about to argue lol.

Hey, I'm not bashing you at all and I said above, I understand your aprehension. I do. I'm just saying that I would absolutely trust those rotors without a doubt.
Whatever deal you had with Team is between you and him and he is clearly a stand up guy to send the $$ back right away without question. I'm just saying I would send it back to him and toss those on my car. No worries. They look fine to me.
If you want to be sure it won't gouge your pad you can hit the high spot with a file just to make it flush and good to go, or leave it.

It was 100% my mistake and you were completely innocent. The decision to refund in full was entirely my doing. You even asked to pay something and I insisted on the 100% refund. End of story.
My concern was that even if you put them in a brake lathe to eliminate the high spot that this would result in an unbalanced brake rotor. Better safe than sorry. Again, it was my fault for not protecting the rotor edges when I boxed them up.
