Standard retail pricing would roughly be as follows (if Powertrix decides to offer rx8 coilovers as a part of their lineup):
Sport Street - $1050.00
Race Coilovers - $1250.00
Ultra Lite Race Coilovers - $1499.00
GB pricing is only temporary - once GB is over, pricing would return to retail. Powertrix is still currently determining whether to make this happen or not but this thread is the first step.

Three more and this is a DONE DEAL
Anyone looking for coilovers comparable to Stance will not be disappointed!
For those out there debating, feel free to PM me with any questions with regards to quality/production/etc of these coils.

For what its worth I was a member of the Z32 community for quite some time and powertrix makes some solid products.
How is the whole payment thing working out, can I get you half on Wednesday and half on the 1st of the month or do you need it all right now?
P.S. this is me being interested and getting these over my dam BNR upgrade... Gotta wait another 2 months for the BNR now

I believe a 50% deposit will be cool to lock your set in with the remainder due when the coilovers reach Powertrix HQ in San Diego, CA. These orders will be going straight to the factory so if you, or anything for that matter, wants in on these coils, the GB would be the best time. BNR will be there later, this GB won't be
Cool, didn't know you were in the Z32 crowd too!

Have you contacted the mods about setting up a GB? You are required to pay a fee. Its small when you split it between everyone but it is something you have to factor into the cost.
Not sure if it was mentioned in the thread or not, but how are you taking payment. To you directly or to the manufactor? If it is to you, dont forget to factor in the cost of paypal fees or whatever surce of payment you are taking. Paypal is about 3% unless you do high volume every month. I do a lot of business on paypal and my fees are about 2.2%, I think. You can also take a paypal echeck which is only $5.
Have you gotten and given shipping quotes? Sometimes these things cost $50-$75 to ship and when you add in the above fees, some people may back out. Seems silly, but it happens all the time.
I am not interested in this group buy, but I think GB's are great for the community. I would hate to see one fail because of little things.

This is not an official group buy just yet; currently gauging interest, technically. Once official GB opens, a new thread will be started in the official GB section. For reference, when GB opens, I believe a 50% deposit will be enough to lock in a spot with the balance due when the coilovers reach Powertrix HQ in SD. Will keep you guys updated!

Your still not answering the question. Who will money be paid too and to your projected prices include shipping and all the fees? Also build time? Im guessing the GB will work like the one Powertrix is running for Nissan's http://www.powertrix.com/
GB will be in a similar fashion.
ETA will be established in Official GB thread.
Current pricing is tentative - actual GB pricing shouldn't differ by much, if at all. Fees/shipping/etc will/are accounted for in determining price.

I was going to just get a spring kit but after doing some research I figured I'd spring for some coilovers.
I'm in. Street sport package.
BTW what is the adjustment range for ride height?
Also, I don't have a whole lot of posts but that's because I just got my RX8 less than a week ago, don't worry my commitment is solid. Here's my "Hello" thread:

It's worth the extra cash going coils the first time around - you won't regret it!

Soooo, another quick little update. GB will open by the end of this weekend. I should be getting new wheels on this Friday, as long as powdercoater stays on schedule, which = full photoshoot.
- A bit of not so great news for a few of you - this GB will likely only be for the Race & Ultra-Lite coils, as we may need to do a bit more testing before releasing the Streets. Not 100% sure on this, but will give more info as it comes to me (Official GB thread will tell all!). Personally, I think the <$200 difference between the two isn't much to pay for the upgrade but like I said, we'll see; Will be sure to keep everyone updated!
- GB will have various payment links (Paypal or CC I believe) as well as all details with regards to ETA's and whatnot. I'll more likely than not be running the GB, which is helpful, as I should be able to answer any/all rx8 & Powertrix related questions. 50% deposit will be enough to lock down a set with the remainder due when the coils arrive stateside. Again, more details in official GB thread.
- Still working on a dyno, for those who cared. As Shady mentioned to me, Powertrix has a reputation to hold up, and I 100% agree. For that reason, I can assure those participating *will* be satisfied!
- Lastly, if this GB proves successful, we may enter R&D for various suspension components such as camber arms, traction rods, and the like. As usual, superb quality with pricing & customer service that rivals the larger companies.
