Getting rims need to know about the 8's offset.

I did a search on this but couldnt get a straight answer from those threads.

Im looking at picking up these rims.

http://www.victoriatire.com/wheels.h...=19&&pkg_tire=[PKGTIRE]&cart=11432650783780228&brand=SPORT%20MAX%20RACING &PICNUM=3494GM&&checkAvailable=F&name=962%20GUN%20 METAL&make=MAZDA&model=RX-8%2004-06&size=19

in 19x8.5 with 245/35/19's

THey say the rim come in a 35mm offeset. Will that rub?

Stock wheels are 8" with 50mm offset. So, an 8.5" wheel with a 35mm offset moves the center of the wheel 15mm to the outside. But, the wheel is 13mm wider. So...

Inner clearance (inside of the wheel to the strut housing) will be 9mm MORE. Outer position (outside edge of the wheel) will EXTEND an extra 21mm or 0.83 inches.

You certainly won't rub on the inside of the wheel. The wheels will stick out more than stock but shouldn't rub anything unless you drop so low that the tires go up into the fenders.
