if it makes you feel better I won't ever bring the staggered issue up again, afterall it's no skin off my back what you do, but I'm still trying to understand how it "looks" better ...

i never mentioned anything about crazy suspension upgrades etc... the only and ONLY reason i have coilovers is FIRST to get rid of the boat like feeling of my car and SECOND height adjustability..it is the only suspension mod i have! simple fact!
every one knows that when you go for looks you sacrifice performance... but again simple fact is most wheels made today are for cars that driven on the street to cruise and for day to day activities.. thats what the RX-8 was made for,, yea its a sports car bla bla.. but its not a track car it comes with auto climate seat warmers and navigation ( sporty???)
luckily we drive a "sports car" with a well designed chasis.. now if you want a AUT0 Xers or track car ..ditch the 8 and go buy an ELISE.. now that car was made for ONE REASON and ONE reason only!
what pisses me off is that we got racers coming on the wheels section and dissing nice looking wheels becasue they dont satisfy performance needs that 90% of rx-8 owners will never experience
now you dont see me comin on to the racing section and start dissing the10% of Rx-8 drivers about their ugly looking 10.654747 lb rims that look more like polished up steelies, with tire profiles as fat as my parents Pathfinder..
if you seriously dont understand how nice mirror polished lips with beautifully crafted spokes dont look good then .....???
i know that some peeps here want the lightest rims and want a astaggered fitment and then want the best coilovers but then again want them to ride just like stock.. want low profile tires ..but dont want to worry about potholes...want performance exhausts wiht huge gains but want them to sound as stock as possible....want to drive premium sports cars but dont want to pay premium for gas... those kind of people are screwed already .. i just ignore them on this forum becuase they make me want to pull my hair out...i suggest you do the same ignore the wheels forum!

that japanese video that was posted on the forum, the really long one, had a Ti with gold wheels, and it actually looked good. Again, that was my opinion, no need for flames if someone thinks it might look bad, or they disagree. I am trying to buy another set of stock wheels, and plan to powdercoat them gold for track use, just for kicks. If i can pull it off, I will post pics.

i got it through a friend of mine who has an account with mackin industries and MVP Motorsports, i don't exactly know who he went through but i would've been the same. lug nuts, centering rings, valve stems, center caps, and the wheels themselves set me back $2256. i had shopped around for these rims for the longest time. www.mvpmotorsports.com and www.desmondperformance.com were the two best places i found. the work wheels i have on right now were bought from Daniel @ Desmond Performance. i can tell you FOR SURE, that he definately hooked me up and the transaction was smooth as butter. picture of my car is even on their website.
