Thumbs up graphite/titanium wheels on RED 8

AMAZING looking!

I haven't washed my brake dust off in a week and from about 10 feet away my wheels just look like they are graphite! It looks WICKED!

Might be too dark for the other colours but on the red it looks stellar!

I noticed the same thing on my black car - the dirty darker rims look better! I was thinking about having them powder coated actually.

just a heads up, if you leave that brake dust accumulate on the rim for a long period of time, it starts to bond with the molecules of the metal of the rim

You will not be able to see it unless the light hits it just right. I will be one of those things like, WHAT WAS THAT.

Thumbs up GGRREEAAAAAAAAATT

I just got my rims back and they look GREAT. I painted them Cobra R Gunmetal Grey with a Red Peral Lip and left the center caps silver. The look is undescribable they look awsome. When you ride you can see the red glow wow. I will post a pic as soon as I can get a camera.

haha funny u people mentioned that .. i also kinda liked how the rims looked with the brake dust, even though i constantly clean em.

the problem my car is Titanium Gray so it looks wierd with the car. I was thinkin of powercoating the rims yellow, that should make up for the loss of 9hp right?

i really like the rims so i dunno if i wanna change em, powder coat em or what..

Yes I did, the metallic paint isnt easy todo. Had to sand after painting to get it smooth

Thanks, I am running 25mm hub centric spacers on all 4. I like the way it looks now, a little more aggressive than the OEM setup
