Found these - if I had an extra set of stock wheels....

I bet that's a well-driven, stock RX8's ticket to a 13-second time slip.

Yeah that is a great deal. I've been wanting to get back to the track (1/4) for a while now, but really have no desire to go run some mid-high 14 second et's. Especially with the 19's I have on the car. I've been wondering how the rx8's rear-end and axles would hould up to repeated drag launches with either some dr's or a set of ET streets. I'm guessing I could definitely run a 13 with the right launch, but I don't want to be the guinea pig with my daily driver
I don't know if I'll be able to hold out though. I've been itching to give nitrous a try on the 8 after using it with success on a past vehicle, but the lack of knowledge I have with the rotary engine has me a bit scared. A nitrous setup like Charles with a set of dr's will definitely land the 8 in mid 12 sec territory if nothing breaks.
I might just have to give in and try.
