If you want the best spring that is out for the rx8 right now buy mine (PM me), or just keep cutting springs.

^He has the Swift springs. Probably the best spring's made today for the RX8. And if you don't need adjustability then you really don't need to spend 700+ for the Basics.

oh ok, what did ferg mean when he said it will look stock with the basics? how low can i drop it with the basics? i have looked online but found various sites stating different drops, since they are adjustable i should be able to go pretty low right?

^It will go pretty low. But wouldn't you rather spend 250$ for a drop, rather than over $650? If your not going to track or anything and just want a drop, getting a coilover is a waste of money.

oh ok good, i see what you mean, yeah makes sense, but ill just stick with the coilovers anyway since they are already paid for, i was just worried if i wasnt going to get a good drop with them since someone said that it will look stock, thanks for the info =)

Listen to topgear, he knows his stuff, buy my springs.

Yeah you can get a good drop with basics, around 2" in the front, 1" in the back. But honestly they are not worth it, I hate Megan (and they suck), but I would choose their coil overs over the basics in your case. You have 0 adjustablity with the basics, you can't go too low, and your ride will suck if you do go to their lower settings.

Another members car on the lowest setting on TEIN BASIC:

no way, really? With the way the tire reaches the fender, the offset must be in the low 30's if it's 9"....

really like the setup....

D2 is on top on the JUNK chain, they are the coilover that gave Taiwanese branded auto stuff a bad name. Do a little research, and buy my springs. lol
