Hitting bump stop?
Well I installed racing beat springs about a week ago and today I got to really test it out through some twisty cyn roads. I pushed my car pretty hard, through really tight turns I feel it hitting the bump stop (It sounds like something rubbing). I didn't have all the instructions since I got the springs used so I cut the front .6 and the back almost an inch. Should I have cut more from the front? I already got an wheel alignment so if I take off the front suspention to cut the bump stop alittle more will it affect my alignment? Thanks in advance...

I've just asked the same question on another thread. Its was advised by Racing Beat. Anyway here's a response from MadDash:
"The factory strut/bumpstop setup is designed for longer springs. When you install shorter springs, the inner distance from the base of the spring to the end of the bumpstop decrease as well. If you do not trim the bumpstop, the suspensions range of motion will decrease. We're only talking about an inch, but that could be enough to create some issues with wheel travel/articulation. Hope that answers your question."
I dont have the installation instructions with me now, will get it later when i got home. will then post the amount to trim to the bumpstop later.
