How to remove curb rash?
Just trying to dip in to the infinite knowledge pool that is rx8club.com. Since I don't have the $$$ for new rims this summer I was thinking of painting the stock ones. I bought my 8 used, and the stock rims have some decent curb rash from the privious owner. Anyone have any good ways to take care of this before I paint them? Can I grind it off?

A while ago I did a google search for DIY's on this, and I found a few:

I haven't gotten around to doing this yet, but these diy's are pretty good.

I need to do that with 1 of my wheels, but I can't because they are painted "hyper siver" (or something). Thanks TSW! They look great, but I have no idea where I could possibly get paint for them since TSW doesn't have any contact info.

My previous car was a lot narrower, so I somehow managed to curb 3 of my wheels. I even got in a minor accident where the wheel was the only thing that was hit, successfully avoiding the rear fender entirely, with only a few scrapes to the wheel. It'll take me a while to fix all of them, though I'll get lots of practice at it, maybe enough to try to get them all polished someday
