HP Lightning wheels...

I have the 18" RPM 505's on my 8. Got 18x8 with 2.5" lip up front and 18x9 with
3" lip in the rear. They look the same and I'm sure mine cost less than the over priced HP wheels.

BTW these come in chrome and black also.

They should be +38 on the offset, but at 19x8.5 up front, I'm not surprised you had some small rubbing. How were you in the back? What are your exact tire sizes if you don't mind? Car looks sharp BTW.

I will post more pics later.
rear tires are 275/30/19 front are 245/35/19
The offsets were low, as I bought the wheels used from a guy who had them on his 350Z. The fronts i had no problem what so ever. The rears were the ones that rubbed. The wheels fit flush with the fender. To me its not a bad thing but for low offsets / wide wheels a fender roll / cut needs to be done.
I like the wheels alot, I get alot of compliments on them. Mesh wheels on the 8 looks nice i think.

I've been following these wheels for a few months now and they'll be releasing new colors and a polished lip soon (might actually be out already). I've seen a picture of the black wheels (glossy) with a polished lip and they look really mean.
I'll look for the website and make an edit if I can find it again...

I have a tough decision to make.. Should I sell my HP wheels and get the OEM Mazda Dark Chrome wheels or should I have my HP wheels powder-coated dark Bronze and leave the lip alone?

I don't really know, but to me it seems like you have less a chance of a screw-up all the way down the line with the OEM's.....and I really like my HP's, but if you go the route you spoke of......I think there is too many things that could go awry. My two cents.

Bought mine today for a sweet *** price - brand new!!! 19's - hyperdark and either Hankook or Nexen tires, waiting on the final word for that. SOOO excited, I'll have new rims and tires waiting for me when I get home.
