HRE 545 Wheels Installed...
#8
Thanks...
For those who want to know...
HRE 545 Wheels
19 x 8.5 45mm Offset 1.5" Lip (F)
19 x 9.5 55mm Offset 2.0" Lip (R)
Hankook Ventus K104 Tires
235/35-19 & 265/30-19 (F/R)
32-36/36-42 PSI (F/R) I run 34/38 most of the time...
TPMS
The wheels were drilled by HRE for TPMS but getting them not to leak was a pain so the TPMS are mounted on the wheels with stainless straps that are very light and strong... (So TPMS is working perfectly...)

would you have any pictures, diagrams, or more info on the stainless strap thing for the tpms?
i might have to do the same and need something to show to the guys that will be installing the tpms on my wheels to be clear on how it needs to be done...

what did you do with your previous set of wheels....the gunmetal ones (if you still have them, I'm interested)? The addition of the eyelids was nice. Both wheels looked great....I guess I'll have to change my wall paper again .

Another question....on your front buumper. Did you have the portion covering the rebar painted...or did yours come like that? (I'm referring to the top portion of the center hole).

The starps are actually just very long hose clamps that you an get long enough for wheels up to 19-20 inches... You mount them in the part of the wheel that has the smallest diameter and to make sure they do not slip you back them up with some 3M double sided foam tape...
I could have mounted them in the standard way with some additional O-Rings or some silicone caulking but this was the faster and better way...
