If a tire shop does the aligment wrong 2 times and ruin new tires.....
If a tire shop does the aligment wrong 2 times and ruin new tires are they responsible for the tires? Tires are less than 10 months old. Took the car to get aligned 2 times cause they didnt do it right. Now when I went to rotate the tires they where really bad. Can I make them pay for new tires? Guys let me know taking the car @ 12 and want to know if I can demand new tires.

I dont think you can demand new tires. Did you ask for the alignment specs? Remember, it isn't your camber that causes significant tire wear, it is the toe. How long after the alignment did you notice the wear of the tires?

I took the car in to get it aligned. Then second time ause they didnt do it right. TOok it to another shop to get the tires rotated and said the inner was bad. Had treads showing. Tires are like 10 months old.

I can't tell where you are located, but for anyone in the southern california area, I've found a really good alignment shop. They just aligned my RX-8, and the results are amazing. They will start with the base specs and work with you to dial it in exactly the way you want it. Nice people, too...

Not true, it just causes the tire to wear differently. Excessive toe will cause the tire to wear down much faster though. Camber causes a different wear pattern and depending on how negative the camber is, it can wear down a tire down to the bands within a few thousand miles.

so the first time I took it the aliment was off, so I took it back. They fixed it. Now 5 month later when I take it to get the tires rotated the tire shop (not the same) tells me about the treads. BMW are very tricky to align. They said they could align bmw thats why I took it there. ive never had tires last me less than a year even other run flats. if it wasn't the alignment then what made messed up the tires like that?

Happened to my Mitsubishi raider a while ago. Luckily I caught it before the treads wore off significantly.
However, I got new wheels earlier in the summer on my 8 and my tires are rotational, and the stupid shop put the tires on backwards so the arrows were rotating in the wrong direction. I never bothered to check because I thought a tire shop would know enough about tires to know what to do. I took it in to my Mazda dealer the other day for an alignment because I guess the treads wore down to a point where it pulls hard right, and that's when I found out about the tire issue. Now it pulls to the left after I had the shop swap the tires, but I'm guessing that's because it was about two months rotating the wrong way haha.
