Installed Axis Hiro RIMS on my RX8...
Well confirmed today the TPMS fits the hiro perfectly... Also confirmed that the best staggered sizes, offsets and tires for the RX8 are...
19x8.5 Offset 45mm (Front) 235/35-19 Tires (32psi)
19x9.5 Offset 55mm (Rear) 265/30-19 Tires (36psi)
I know they fit because after much research that included fitting them (gunmetal/amph hiros) on my car; they work, fit and look awesome...
The car handles very well with them, turn in is now the best I have ever experienced and I have driven just about everything out there including 360 modenas... The tire pressures are set up to neutralize the affect of under-steer due to staggering… I have to say the handling is still nice and neutral... The rolling dia of this setup is almost identical to stock; just a little smaller and according to my hand held GPS is now correct; 65mph is now 65mph...
Will post pics tomorrow...

mikeb: HREs are on order and taking way to long... I bought these at a really good price (the tires were just 596), and they are great; will take pictures in the morning and post... Was going to sell them later but like them so much I may just keep them, HREs might just be history...

Ok, here we go... (Rear)
Sorry, the car is a little dirty...
What do you guys and gals think?
RolenImports: Yes, you could fit a 275... That just would be to wide (There is such a thing as to much of a good thing)...

Side shot...
One from the side...
Notice how the wheels sit very nice in the wheel well, (looks stock and fits perfectly, lots of research and time went into selecting this combination of wheel/tire sizes and offsets...) you will see this in some of the other shots better...

Here you can see better the great clearence... There is room everywhere, and the space from the inside upper edge of the rimto the springs front and rear is over an inch...
