Knocking while turning left slowly

I have developed this really annoying knock when I turn left at slow speed and nearly full lock, like a round about. Nothing when I turn right (RHD car here)

I currentlly have aftermarket rims on (not those in my sig/avatar) but I tried this TSB anyway. I ran out of time to test my other rims but will do that next saturday in preperation for a track day.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers

Andrew

Do you have aftermarket swaybar and bushings? I get that from time to time and have to regrease my bushings.

I have a tube of stuff at the house that is for body parts and bushings. I don't remember which one it is, but it works ok.

If you want to you can order the stuff that Racing Beat sells, but I didn't get any better performance from that stuff than just the regular crap at Autozone.

you might want to check your endlinks... sounds stupid yes, but it happened to me too. one of them wasnt connected to the swaybar (for a long time )

Checked the endlinks and they were fine. The bushings still had the original white grease on them which was basically gone and what was there was very dry. I have re-greased them and softened up the dampening on my coilovers and looks like its all good.

Thanks for the input.

Cheers

Loose lugs or an aftermarket brake line interfering with the edge of the rim.
Both have caused this noise on my car.

Thats one of the things I was worries about, I drove 50 odd km on loose lugs. Was worried I had damaged something. But when I had the car on the hoist doing the sways I noticed cable that was loose and swinging onto the body. I cable tied that too. However I ruled that out as I was feeling this knocking coming through the steering column.

Cheers
