Kumho MX vs. Hankook K104 vs. Falken Fk452
I'm look to get a set of 19'' Enkei RP03's and well no one makes an exceptional tire in regard to performance for a exceptionally low price in 19''
I have Pilot Sport 2's on the car now (with huge bubbles, hence this dilemma, see pics, 3 auto-x events and still haven't popped, tired of carrying around the spare ) and I would like something that performs just as well in 19'' for 1/2 the price;
That leaves the Kumho MX/the Hankook Ventus Sport K104/ and Falken Fk452
autocrossers opinions most welcome, AND an appeal to anyone who might be or know of someone selling RP03's at this point im open to size 18" or 19" as im currently undecided, and un-willing to commit to a 3 month wait from enkei.

I am looking for new tires. So like a good member, I searched. I didn't come up with too much info, so I am bumping this thread to see if I can get a few reviews on these 3 different tires.
Right now I am leaning towards the Hankooks. But is there anything I should take in to consideration before purchasing.
BTW - 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rears will be my sizes. (8.5" and 9.5" wide wheels)
So - Back from the dead for this thread

Rgl: I don't track my car but I can speak to the Kumho MX's. GREAT performing, I've had zero regrets with them over the year they've been on my car.
Tread rating = 220 so you won't get a TON of life out of them but they will work well for track days (Razz1 uses them) and they can also be used on a DD

Kumho
Falken
Hankook
That's the order for track purpose.
However if you want to save money you can go for the cheap ones.
They all where out real fast on the track.
I almost bought some Falken, but after further research I decided the it wasn't worth the loss in performance.
Have tried looking for Toyo's?

ive had kumho MX on my car for the last 2+ years, 1 track day (six 20 minute sessions) at laguna seca and several autocrosses. good dry tire, medium when its wet. i like them.
good heat resistance at the big track.
