Kumho Solus KR21 - any experiences?
Has anyone used or driven on these tires in a car other then 8 (don't even come in 18s!)? They are standard touring all-season passenger tires. 640 A B T-rating.
I have a 97 Sentra GXE with 13" rims and a stock size of 175/70R13. These tires get very good user reviews and got a positive review from the TireRack editors. I want to stick with the stock size since this car is all about maximizing MPG.
I currently have Kumho ECSTA SPTs on my 8 and have enjoyed their characteristics and value. These tires are only $39 a tire so can't really complain about the price!

KR21's are not bad, my co-worker's relative (aunt or something) has them on a 95 Blazer and they seem a little noisy the few times I rode in the car. I have the KH16's on my '01 Hyundai Elantra and those are really quiet and handle very well.

^ Thanks. The KH16's don't even come in my size! My other choice was Yokohama Avid Touring ~$49. I think I have about a choice of 10 non-winter tires in that stock size.

Yeah, the KH16 is a slightly more premium tire -- still very low priced, though!
The Sumitomo HTR 200 is a good choice too, they're light weight, and handle very well. They are available in your size (my buddy has them on his Civic).
