Drool. Great wheels, I love how your car looks. Plus the piano black b-pillars are a nice touch.

According to edge racing they weigh 25.7 lbs

Hrmm, they fit my requirements for being less than or equal to OEM weight and being 19x8.5". Looks like I have some grovelling to do with the wife. She OK'd $1400, maybe she'll okay $2k. Are the tires you got more or less expensive than Nitto 555s? any idea?

Extensive, Mel, Rex, Jenkins, Labop - Thanks for the props! :D

cgrx - Good lookin' out. I'll give it a shot.

On a side note - I spoke with a rep from Toyo and he said that the T1S is being replaced with the T1R sometime this year. He said that it was a fantastic improvement on an already great tire. I only wish they would be out sooner than later because I really think that I'll be exchanging my ST-115's. Just not enough grip for me. Any other tires out there that folks really get good grip out of?

Ed - Good luck on the 19x10"'s, they'll look great.

True - the door bezels came from Canzoomer. It's a great addition to the interior. IMO - I'm also looking to get the piano black steering wheel pieces that come on the '05 Shinka as soon as they're available.

Kel - That is quite the compliment, Thank you very much!! :D

Stew - I understand that you are biased but thank you none-the-less!

True - Where can I get the steering wheel pieces from? My local dealer?

unlikely at your local dealer, these pieces are imported from Japan. The only place I've found them is at www.mazdaparts.com aka rx8garage.net

here is the link to the product:

That really sets off the yellow. Thats the first I've seen with the hyper black. I do like the piano black accents you have added. I've never really noticed them before on any other cars. Great Job

True - The pieces from the RX8Garage are stick-on like the inner door bezels that I put on and the pieces from the Shinka are actual replacement parts. I don't know if I like the look of those stick-on's as compared to what's in the Shinka. My local dealer quoted me $212 for them. Rosenthal or Trussville should come in less than that so I'll give them a call. The parts come with all new buttons and wiring for your steering wheel. I'll have to think about that one.

Cobalt - Thank you very much. Love the pic on the bike!

Extensive - Thank you!

The piano black b-pillars came from my local dealer for around $50-$60. I do know that I ended up buying two sets because I messed up the passenger side piece and once that stuff is on. IT'S ON. I can't remember, so go to Canzoomer's website for the price of the bezels. I do remember that they took awhile to come in. At least month and a half. It's a nice subtle touch that not to many people have done. Actually no one that I can thinnk of.

several guys have 20s with lowering springs...there is no rub from circumference size but from the width...which required some trimming, that is what happens with 9.5 wheels

Bringing this back from the dead, have a question, probably going to be getting these exact wheels in the next few weeks, and I was wondering if there was anyway I could fit a little bit wider rubber underneath there without rubbing. What is the next size up in tire size? I'll be running the S-Techs just like he is...
